We have a trip to Nine Dragons Lake. It took us about 1 hour to get there by bus. It's near from Ningbo downtown.
There, we found some monkeys and birds instaed of nine dragons. They may be caught from other place and feeded on the small island. The island is called Monkey Island, and we took a boat to reach it. We only spent 1 hour on the island, including the boating time. Not interesting! But the lake is somehow atracted. Islands, small and large, are lying in the lake. When the boat glided, water beside us was pushed to the far away, glittering under the sun.
Back from the Monkey Island, we took 3 hours to climbe the mountain. It is said that the mountain is only 300 meters altitude. It is hot and hasn't been rainy for almost 7 days in the summer, so most of the waterfalls were thirsty, and only one or two was streaming globly . What a pity! There are lakes, pavillions and unique big stones on the moutain, which gave us some joyance. We deard that people could have a view of the East Sea on the summit, but here I regret to tell you that no scenery could be found on the summit, because the Younger Group Corporation buyed this summit and is preparing to build a carnival playing garden which will be more luxurious than the Phoenix Carnical Garden.
Anyway, the Nine Dragon Lake is still developing in its way.
